Standards and certification
Awesome Foods does not grow or mill its own raw material. We buy from established, certified spice suppliers, and the standards those suppliers hold are the standards that reach your pack.
How our supply chain works
Every raw material in the Awesome Foods range is sourced from certified commercial spice suppliers rather than the open market. Each delivery is accompanied by a supplier specification sheet setting out the origin of the material, its grade, its microbiological limits and its allergen status. Blending and packing then takes place to those specifications.

Our suppliers operate under the food safety and quality certifications listed below. Copies of current certificates are available to retail buyers and trade customers on request.
- Food safety management system certification
- Halaal certification
- Quality management certification
- Supplier name and country
What we commit to
- The net mass printed on the pack is the net mass in the pack.
- The heat level printed on the pack reflects the blend actually inside it.
- Batch and reference numbers are printed so any pack can be traced back to its blend record.
- No raw material enters a blend without a current supplier specification sheet on file.
- Where a certification is held by our supplier rather than by Awesome Foods, we say so instead of implying the certificate is ours.
Requesting documentation
Retail buyers, environmental health officers and trade customers can request supplier specification sheets, certificates of analysis and allergen declarations by writing to customercare@awesomefoods.co.bw or calling +267 7846 7382. We will respond with the current documentation for the batch in question.

Certification paperwork is handled per batch and per buyer rather than published as a blanket claim on the site. This table sets out what can be requested today and where each request goes.
